Kew Gardens

The Kew Gardens are quite beautiful and are only a short tube ride from London. We spent the better part of the day visiting the gardens and surrounding area.

We rode the "Explorer," the tram that circumvents the garden, and it was a lovely way to see the various sections of the gardens. From lily ponds to a Japanese tea garden and redwood forests the gardens are quite extensive and one could easily loose themselves for hours.

One of the larger greenhouses, inside is an incredible rain forest.

This beautiful spiral staircase within the rain forest leads to walkways above. There was something magical about being surrounded by such large trees in this misty environment & encountering elements such as this magnificent staircase.

Full of history, beautiful trees & flowers, these gardens provide an educational and relaxing outing just outside of London.
